"This Train is Bound For Glory" Commemorative 50' Pullman Standard Boxcar

In 1979 Carstens Publications released its first recorded album "This Train is Bound for Glory" that featured the sounds of the rails and classic railroad folk songs sung by Dan Igor Glenn and produced by A. Alan Botto of Semaphore Music, Inc. To promote this recording Hal Carstens issued a limited run HO scale box car decorated for the album. We have recently found a very limited quantity of these rare cars that were hidden away some thirty years ago.

Decorated in silver and yellow two-tone paint with red lettering the "This Train is Bound for Glory" 50-foot Pullman Standard Boxcar was manufactured by Model Die Casting under the Roundhouse brand.
